Michael Barbaro is founder and CEO of redwith and its subsidiary companies, including redwith real estate, a technology-driven, impact-focused real estate brokerage and redwith technologies, a B2B & B2C (SAAS) software development company with a primary concentration in the retech and fintech verticals.
Barbaro also remains at the helm and CEO of his flagship firm, the philanthropically inspired Huntsman, Meade & Partners Compass Realty Corporation, a residential and commercial real estate brokerage which he founded in 2008.
Barbaro entered the real estate brokerage industry in 2003, bringing with him over 18 years of experience in construction and real estate and land development as the founder of Omni Companies, corporate parent to a network of industry-related affiliate companies, which evolved into a multi-disciplined organization consisting of a design/build construction firm, real estate development firm, construction management firm and consulting company. The introduction of the real estate brokerage entity brought the organization one step closer to his version of a vertically integrated real estate development ecosystem, according to Barbaro.
In 1999 Barbaro launched Omni Consulting, a strategic consulting firm specializing in mergers and acquisitions, crisis mitigation and litigation consulting.
In addition to his personally held corporate entities for borrow is president of SmartMLS, a nationally ranked, top-20 statewide (Connecticut) multiple listing service with nearly 20,000 participants.
Barbaro has held various officer/leadership positions within the Realtor organization. He sits on the board of directors for various organizations and foundations and has amassed thousands of volunteer hours in the nonprofit sector.
