Laura has been a member of the Realty Alliance since 2004, when she joined Douglas Elliman to work directly with Dottie Herman. As an active TRA member, she is always willing to participate and support all the TRA initiatives.
Current she is a strategy consultant for BHHS The Preferred Realty, and a National Speaker/Presenter/Coach/Consultant.
All who are able to experience Laura’s presentations, walk away feeling motivated and inspired to take their career, life, and/or game to the next level.
Because of this, Laura is a sought-after public speaker who has a unique talent to tailor each of her presentations to the needs of each and every audience member. She is known as a Futurist, Industry Expert, Coach, Thought Leader, and Strategy Consultant who is able to help her clients and audiences walk away with an understanding and ability to use the resources about which she teaches.
Her first career was in public education. She served public school parents, teachers, and students for 20+ years as a teacher and ultimately retired as a school administrator. During Laura’s time in PreK-12 education, she always worked to ensure that teachers and parents were given and taught activities that would enhance student learning.
This love for lifelong learning translated very easily when she began her work at Douglas Elliman. One of her main responsibilities was to build, and “re-tool” the company’s professionals, as well as work directly with Dottie to constantly grow the company. Her expertise in the education and the re-education of adults was and still is much appreciated by agents and her leadership colleagues.
